Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand through ‘Heart-to-Heart’ Campaign
BANGKOK - March 03, 2017 -
Jirasak Singmaneechai, Managing Director of Dow Thailand Group, together with employees donated 1,000,000 THB to the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra represented by Emeritus Professor Dr. Boonchob Pongpanich, Chairman of the foundation, at Dow Thailand’s headquarters. The funding has been gained from both the heart-to-heart campaign initiated by employees and the financial support from the company. More than 450 participants have involved throughout the campaign under “Dow Gets together in Dedication to Great King Rama IX” project since December 2016 with an aim to offer the medical support and operations to children suffering from heart disease. The campaign will help provide timely surgery to the needy patients, reduce complications, save and fortify children’s lives.
The campaign bolsters Dow’s promise to sustainability and commitment to enhancing the quality of life of current and future generations for community success by engaging employees for impacts in each of the projects where possible. In 2017, Dow volunteers are unremittingly committed to engagement for community success under “Dow Thailand’s Golden Jubilee: Following the King’s Footprints” theme so as to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary.
