Dow Thailand Continues Enhancing Rayong Children’s English Competency
RAYONG - June 12, 2017 -
Dow Thailand organized the 8th English Experience for Kids program at Sripat Auditorium at Wat Ban Chang School to enhance English proficiency of 120 young children in Ban Chang district. Presided over by Jirasak Tapachote, Ban Chang Chief District Officer, the activity is part of the Ban Chang Development Plan which is a project initiated by Dow Thailand with an aim to enhance community success and facilitate sustainable educational development. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary in 2017, Dow Thailand organized the activity under “Dow Thailand’s Golden Jubilee: Following the King Bhumibol’s Footprints” theme in order to pay tribute to King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Starting from 10 June to 17 September 2017, the 8th English Experience for Kids program is a special English class on weekends that Dow Thailand Group and Andrew Biggs Academy jointly developed for children at 9-12 years of age. The children will directly learn about the vocabulary and conversation from the native speakers. More than 900 children have partaken in the program since 2014.
