BANGKOK - September 05, 2019 - Dow Thailand Group, received the ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ awards from Mr. Suriya Jungroongroengkij, Minister of Industry, in the Green Industry Forum at Thai Army Club (Viphavadi). The awards were presented to seven plants of Dow Thailand Group – Polyol & Formulated Polyol Plant, Propylene Glycol Plant, Polyether Polyol Plant and Rigid Polyol Plant (Dow Chemical Thailand Limited), Polyethylene Plant (Siam Polyethylene Co., Ltd.), Specialty Elastomers Plant (Siam Synthetic Latex Co., Ltd.) and Propylene Oxide Plant (MTP HPPO Manufacturing Co., Ltd.).
The ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ is to recognize entrepreneurs who demonstrate accountability on environmentally-friendly operations and sustainable development, continuous improvement in production process and environmental management, as well as social responsibility within and beyond the organization throughout the whole supply chain as an integral part of the organization’s culture.
