8 Plants of Dow Thailand Receive Green Industry Level 4 Awards from Ministry of Industry

BANGKOK - September 11, 2017 - Mr. Henry Ling, Site Director of Dow Thailand Group, received the ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ awards from Mr. Mongkol Pruekwattana, Director-General of Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, in the Green Industry Sustainable Development seminar at Thai Army Club (Viphavadi). The awards were presented to eight plants of Dow Thailand Group – Polyol & Formulated Polyol Plant and Propylene Glycol Plant (Dow Chemical Thailand Limited), Polyethylene Plant (Siam Polyethylene Co., Ltd.), Polystyrene Plant (Polystyrene Plant Co., Ltd.), Ethylbenzene and Styrene Monomer Plant (Siam Styrene Monomer Co., Ltd.), Styrene-Butadiene Latex Plant and Specialty Elastomers Plant (Siam Synthetic Latex Co., Ltd.) and Propylene Oxide Plant (MTP HPPO Manufacturing Co., Ltd.).

Green Industry Level 4 AwardsThe ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ is to recognize entrepreneurs who demonstrate accountability on environmentally-friendly operations and sustainable development, continuous improvement in production process and environmental management, as well as social responsibility within and beyond the organization throughout the whole supply chain as an integral part of the organization’s culture.
