Dow and Plastics Institute of Thailand donate 1,740 Thai Kit Spacers to hospital

Thai Kit Spacer donationBangkok – May 13, 2020 – After donating 3,200 PPE suits to 8 hospitals, Dow Thailand has recently joined hands with Plastics Institute of Thailand in the donation of 1,740 Thai Kit Spacers, which will be used to treat patients with respiratory illness during the outbreak of COVID-19, to Thammasat University Hospital.

Designed and developed by Plastics Institute of Thailand and the hospital as a substitute for imported equipment, the Thai Kit Spacer helps reduce the risk of droplets spreading while patients are receiving the medical spray. This can enhance safety of frontline health workers. The donated spacers will be further distributed to more than 500 hospitals in need across the nation.
