Dow and Solvay donate 30,000 liters of environmental-friendly H2O2 disinfectants to Thailand

RAYONG, March 5, 2021 - Dow and Solvay have recently handed over another batch of 30,000 liters of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to Bangkok Governor to disinfect public areas such as fresh markets and public buildings.

In total, Dow and Solvay have donated 100,000 liters of environmental-friendly disinfectant during the new wave of Covid-19 outbreak in Thailand since December 2020. Before this donation, the partner had donated 70,000 liters of H2O2 solution to clean public areas and local schools in Rayong province, where Dow and Solvay's manufacturing facilities are located.

The H2O2 solution is a product of MTP HP JV Company, a joint venture between Dow and Solvay in Thailand. The disinfectant is environmentally benign as it is non-corrosive, colorless, and decomposes to oxygen and water without harmful chemicals left after use.
