Dow renovates playground to enhance safe and sustainable learning experiences for children
Rayong - August 16, 2019 - Wilailux Lapwisuttisarod, Asia Pacific Technical Expertise & Support for Engineering Solutions and Maintenance Leader, together with more than 200 volunteers from Dow Thailand handed over the renovated playground under the “2019 Neighbor Care Project” to Tawin Photibuatong, Map Ta Phut City Mayor, at the Hua Pong Child Development Center in Rayong. In the event, Dow volunteers joined hands in repairing the existing playground equipment as well as building new ones, such as sand ponds, climbing equipment to promote development and learning of children. The volunteers also installed the fence around the playground area for children’s safety. In addition, they provided electrical system maintenance and installed handrails and new doors in the bathrooms to make the child development center safer, more beautiful and more convenient.
