Dow Thailand donates THB 2.2 million worth of Oxygen high-flow devices to fight against COVID-19

BANGKOK, June 1, 2021 – Along with its employees, Dow Thailand Group has donated over THB 2.2 million worth of Oxygen high-flow devices under the campaign "Dow support Thailand to fight against COVID-19" to Siriraj Foundation for further allocation to hospitals in need.

The Oxygen high-flow device is extremely important for Thailand now as it increases the chance of COVID-19 survival, especially for those with respiratory failure or hypoxia. It is a medical tool in high demand and is still insufficient for several hospitals.

"Dow Thailand cares for the current situation of COVID-19 outbreak in the country. We have been providing our resources to alleviate the pandemic in many ways, such as donating Hydrogen peroxide disinfectants (Dow-Solvay Joint venture product), face masks, medical protective equipment, and relief bags," says Chatchai Luanpolcharoenchai, Dow Thailand President. "This time, we have teamed up with employees and their families to raise funds to purchase Oxygen high-flow devices for local hospitals. The support will save lives of COVID-19 patients and lift healthcare workers' spirits knowing that Dow is standing by them to fight the difficult time."
