Dow Thailand Hands over 35th House to Underprivileged Family

Ms. Yukultorn Panichayapichet (5th from right), Culture Change & Learning Group and Site Infrastructure Leader of Dow Thailand Group, together with Mr. Thana Chaichanpanit (4th from right), Executive Director of Munkong Steel Co., Ltd., and Mr. Adul Bumrungsuntorn (4th from left), Mayor of Nongtapan Sub-district Administrative Organization, handed over the 35th Dow’s Habitat house which is decent, hygienic, and safe to the family of Ms. Orapin Srirat in Baan Kai district, Rayong province. Munkong Steel, who is Dow’s business partner, provided the polyurethane insulation roof which helps save energy consumption and reduce room temperature to support the house construction this year.

The Dow’s Habitat House Project has been ongoing operated by Dow Thailand Group in collaborative partnership with Habitat for Humanity Thailand. Over the past 14 years, 1,209 Dow volunteers have participated in the project which helps uplift the community welfare to more than 661 Thai people nationwide.
