Dow Thailand Receives Good Governance Awards for Environmental and Safety Excellence

RAYONG - March 26, 2018 - Dow Thailand Group led by Mr. Henry Ling, Site Director, received Good Governance Awards for Environmental and Safety Excellence, known as ‘Green Star Award (2017)’ and ‘Gold Star Award (2012-2017)’ as extra recognition of companies which have received the Green Star Awards for 6 consecutive years, from Dr. Verapong Chaiperm, Governor of Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (I-EA-T) at Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office in Rayong province. It was the first year that all 14 plants of Dow Thailand Group have been recognized in both categories for the excellence in environmental, safety, and corporate social responsibility management.

The Good Governance Award for Environmental and Safety Excellence is presented to the companies for their sustained excellent environmental and safety management system as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management. This recognition which is a program for community involvement and companies’ environment and safety good governance was organized by I-EA-T.
