4 plants of Dow Thailand receive Green Industry Level 4 Awards from Ministry of Industry

BANGKOK – 30 November 2021 – Dow Thailand Group has recently received the ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ awards from Mr. Wanchai Phanomchai, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works, Minister of Industry, in the Green Industry Forum at Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel. The awards were presented to Polystyrene plant (Siam Polystyrene Company Limited), Ethylbenzene and Styrene Monomer plant (Siam Styrene Monomer Company Limited), Styrene-Butadiene Latex plant (Siam Synthetic Latex Company Limited) and Synthetic Latex Emulsion plant (Carbide Chemical (Thailand) Limited).

The ‘Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture)’ is to recognize entrepreneurs who demonstrate accountability on environmentally-friendly operations and sustainable development, continuous improvement in production process and environmental management, as well as social responsibility within and beyond the organization throughout the whole supply chain as an integral part of the organization’s culture.
